Scenic Design
I enjoy Scenic Design because it helps set the tone for the show. It is the first thing the audience sees and a large part of creating the world we ask the audience to enter. It can be as simple as a chair or as elaborate as your imagination and budget can go. While I enjoy the teamwork involved with building sets, my favorite part is learning new techniques in scene painting and seeing the final product under the lights.
